Review of r.18D CEO Notices under the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Regulations 2008

Overview

The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (the department) sought feedback from waste industry stakeholders on the draft revised Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Notices and approved methods for liable local governments, recyclers and non-metropolitan landfills. This is required under regulation 18D of the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Regulations 2008 (WARR Regulations).

Consultation outcome

The consultation period ran from 8 November 2024 to 31 January 2025.
