The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (the department) is developing new guidance to provide external stakeholders with further information on how the department carries out its regulatory functions under Part V Division 2 of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (EP Act).
We are currently seeking feedback on the draft Policy: Applications for amendments to clearing permits.
The draft policy provides guidance on matters that the department considers when making a decision on an application to amend a clearing permit under the EP Act.

Feedback is sought on the content of the draft Policy: Applications for amendments to clearing permits.
All feedback received and recent amendments to the EP Act passed through parliament will be considered in finalising the policy.
The consultation period will run from Thursday 1 April to Thursday 27 May 2021 (8 weeks).
All submissions must be received by 5pm (AWST) on Friday 27 May 2021.
